Vintage Solid Oak Welsh Style Dresser & Plate Rack

A beautifully crafted vintage solid oak Welsh-style dresser, dating approximately c.1960–1980, combining generous storage with classic English country character.

Constructed in richly figured oak with a warm, deep finish, this substantial dresser features a traditional open plate rack above a three-door cupboard base.

The upper section provides two long display shelves, framed by shaped side supports and an attractive scalloped apron. It’s ideal for displaying ceramics, crockery, glassware or decorative collections.

The lower section incorporates three spacious drawers and three panelled cupboard doors, complemented by traditional dark metal ring handles and decorative strap-style hinges. Pierced detailing across the upper door panels adds further character to the design.

A handsome and practical piece that would work particularly well in a farmhouse kitchen, dining room or traditional country interior.
