A beautifully proportioned large vintage console table, dating approximately from the late 20th to early 21st century, circa 1990–2010.
Substantial and beautifully finished, this impressive piece combines traditional styling with strong architectural detailing. The rich warm timber finish highlights the grain beautifully, while the generous rectangular top provides an excellent surface for lamps, artwork, ceramics and decorative pieces.
The four substantial supports are a particularly attractive feature, incorporating elongated contrasting decorative panels that give the table a subtle Art Deco and classical influence. Stepped mouldings, shaped block feet and a substantial lower plinth add to its sense of quality and presence.
A discreet central drawer provides useful concealed storage, while the full-length lower shelf offers generous additional display space for books, baskets, ceramics or decorative accessories.
