An exceptional set of four Victorian Aesthetic Movement dining chairs, dating to approximately c.1875–1880.

These striking chairs feature elegant ebonised frames beautifully contrasted with warm figured burr walnut-style inlay and fine decorative detailing. The architectural frames incorporate oval upholstered backs, turned finials and slender tapered legs, creating a wonderfully distinctive late-Victorian appearance.

Each chair has been finished with generously deep-buttoned cream upholstery to both the seat and oval back, providing a sophisticated contrast against the dark ebonised timber.

A superb statement set with the decorative presence to work equally well around a dining table or individually as occasional, bedroom or dressing-room chairs.

Condition
