A beautiful set of three antique Victorian mahogany balloon back dining chairs, dating to approximately circa 1860–1880.
Each chair features an elegant open balloon back with carved scroll and rosette detailing, beautifully turned front legs, swept rear legs and delicate brass-capped feet.
The rich mahogany frames are complemented by upholstered seats in a striking yet traditional striped fabric combining red, cream, beige and blue tones. Full of period character, these chairs would work beautifully around a dining table or individually as occasional, bedroom or dressing-table chairs.
