A beautifully elegant Edwardian inlaid mahogany display cabinet, dating approximately to circa 1900–1910, with wonderful Sheraton Revival influences and exceptionally attractive decorative detailing.
The cabinet features a rich mahogany-toned frame enhanced by fine contrasting stringing and an exquisite floral swag inlaid frieze across the top. The combination of warm timber and delicate inlay gives the piece a particularly refined appearance.
A pair of tall glazed doors feature striking geometric astragal detailing, complemented by glazed side panels that allow light to pass beautifully through the cabinet and showcase the contents within.
Internally, the cabinet provides four generous display levels, finished with a subtle patterned backing. The whole piece stands upon elegant tapered legs, giving it the light and graceful proportions so characteristic of Edwardian furniture.
