A magnificent mid-19th century Victorian mahogany sideboard, dating to approximately 1840–1860, with a wonderfully substantial country-house presence and beautifully figured timber throughout.

The sideboard has an especially attractive serpentine shaped front, with gently projecting rounded ends, two large central drawers and cupboard storage to either side. Decorative brass drop handles, traditional keyholes, moulded detailing and turned bun feet complete the design.

The richly figured mahogany and warm aged patina give this piece enormous character. Its generous proportions make it an impressive statement piece for a dining room, kitchen, hallway or large living space.
