A beautiful antique solid oak single wardrobe, believed to date from the late Victorian to early Edwardian period, circa 1890–1910.
With its warm natural oak colouring and elegant proportions, this is a particularly attractive example. The tall central door incorporates a full-length bevelled mirror, framed by panelled oak uprights and topped with an architectural cornice and distinctive shaped pediment with carved roundel detail.
Below sits a generous full-width drawer, providing useful additional storage while retaining the wardrobe’s elegant period appearance.
Its relatively narrow footprint makes it particularly suited to bedrooms, guest rooms, dressing rooms and cottage interiors where space is at a premium.
