A striking early 20th-century mahogany Bergère three-seater sofa, dating to approximately the 1920s–1930s, featuring a beautifully shaped exposed timber frame, traditional cane panels and generously proportioned upholstered cushions.

This is a substantial and characterful piece of period seating. The warm mahogany frame incorporates elegant carved scroll detailing to the arms, decorative carved feet and extensive cane work to both sides and across the rear.

The rich burgundy herringbone-style upholstery works beautifully against the mahogany, with three individual seat cushions and three large back cushions creating a comfortable and imposing sofa.
