A wonderfully characterful antique Edwardian oak wardrobe, dating to approximately c.1900–1915, combining beautiful period craftsmanship with elegant detailing and highly practical bedroom storage.

The wardrobe features a striking full-length oval mirror to the central door, framed by beautifully shaped and moulded oak panels to either side. The restrained decorative detailing gives the piece subtle Arts & Crafts influence while retaining the warmth and elegance associated with Edwardian furniture.

Opening the main door reveals a generous full-height hanging compartment, while the substantial full-width drawer beneath provides additional storage for folded clothing, linens and accessories.

The oak has developed a wonderfully warm, naturally aged colour, displaying attractive grain throughout alongside the historic markings and variations that give genuine antique furniture its individual character.

At approximately 41 cm deep, this is also a particularly useful wardrobe for bedrooms where space is limited, offering substantial storage and the presence of a period piece without the excessive depth associated with many larger antique wardrobes.
