A beautifully proportioned antique Edwardian chest of drawers, dating from approximately circa 1900, with an elegant and understated design influenced by earlier Georgian and Regency furniture.
The chest features two smaller upper drawers positioned above two generous full-width drawers, offering excellent practical storage while retaining a refined and relatively compact profile.
Each drawer is framed with subtle moulded detailing and finished with traditional metal drop handles. The timber has a wonderfully warm, rich tone with attractive natural grain and the character that develops through generations of use.
The chest stands on slender tapered legs with castors, giving the piece a particularly elegant silhouette and lifting the substantial drawer section beautifully from the floor.
