A wonderfully characterful antique figured oak sideboard dating from approximately circa 1900, combining beautiful craftsmanship, generous storage and handsome period detailing.
Crafted in richly figured oak, the sideboard displays a beautiful warm colour and pronounced grain throughout. The substantial moulded top sits above three useful drawers fitted with decorative dark metal ring handles.
Below, two central glazed doors open to a shelved interior, providing an attractive space for displaying glassware, ceramics or tableware. Further panelled cupboards to either side offer generous concealed storage, making this a particularly practical piece of antique furniture.
The raised and fielded cupboard doors, traditional dovetailed drawer construction, decorative hardware and wonderfully aged oak give the piece a distinctive English country house character.

Condition
This is a genuine antique piece dating from around the turn of the 20th century and consequently displays age-related marks, knocks, scratches, variations in colour and other signs of previous use consistent with its age and history.
The top in particular displays historic surface wear and marking, contributing to the authentic aged appearance and character of the piece. The oak retains a beautiful rich colour and particularly attractive grain throughout.
