Antique Edwardian Art Nouveau Mahogany Mirrored Wardrobe – c.1900

A striking Edwardian Art Nouveau mahogany wardrobe, dating approximately from c.1895–1910.

Elegant in proportion and wonderfully distinctive, this impressive antique wardrobe combines a rich mahogany-toned finish with beautiful Art Nouveau-inspired decorative detailing.

The front is centred around a tall arched full-length mirror, flanked by two beautifully detailed panels featuring elongated, flowing motifs characteristic of the Art Nouveau movement. Their organic, symmetrical form gives the wardrobe a particularly unusual appearance and creates a wonderful focal point against the deep warmth of the timber.

A substantial moulded cornice crowns the piece, while traditional brass fittings, a shaped lower apron and a generous lower drawer complete its handsome period design.

Opening the main door reveals a spacious full-height hanging compartment with traditional internal hanging fittings, providing excellent practical storage while retaining the wardrobe’s authentic period character.

A superb statement piece for a period bedroom, country house, dressing room or an eclectic contemporary interior.
