A magnificent antique carved oak court cupboard, dating from approximately 1890–1910, with the substantial proportions and elaborate detailing characteristic of the Jacobean and Elizabethan Revival periods.
Crafted in richly toned oak, this impressive piece features a two-tier architectural design with beautifully turned and carved supports, an arcaded frieze, panelled cupboard doors and decorative period-style ironwork.
The lower section offers excellent practical storage, with two drawers above a spacious double-door cupboard. Above sits a further central cupboard with a wonderfully detailed carved panel, framed by substantial turned supports beneath the broad overhanging top.
The warm, deeply aged oak has developed wonderful character and patina, making this an exceptional statement piece for a farmhouse kitchen, dining room, country house, period property or an eclectic contemporary interior.
