A beautiful early 19th-century burr and figured walnut chest of drawers, dating approximately c.1810–1830, with exceptional grain, rich colouring and a wonderfully aged patina.
The chest features a classic arrangement of two short upper drawers over two generous full-width drawers, complemented by traditional oval brass ring handles and key escutcheons.
The real highlight is the spectacular figured walnut, particularly across the top and drawer fronts, where the swirling grain creates tremendous depth and character. Raised on shaped bracket feet, its relatively compact proportions make it a versatile antique for bedrooms, dressing rooms, hallways or living spaces.
