A truly exceptional antique Arts & Crafts side-by-side bureau bookcase, dating to approximately 1900–1910.

Beautifully proportioned and packed with period character, this impressive piece combines a fitted writing bureau, twin glazed display cabinets and generous drawer storage within one highly decorative design.

The warm oak displays wonderful grain and patina throughout, enhanced by distinctive Art Nouveau-inspired floral carving and decorative detailing. At the centre, the fall-front bureau opens to create a practical writing surface and reveals a fitted interior with pigeonholes and compartments.

Either side are tall glazed display cabinets with elegant curved glazing bars and glass shelving, ideal for displaying books, glassware, ceramics or treasured collections. Three curved drawers below the bureau provide additional storage and complete the striking symmetrical design.
