Vintage Yew Wood Cocktail Drinks Cabinet | Georgian Sheraton Style

A beautifully crafted vintage yew wood cocktail and drinks cabinet, dating approximately from the mid-20th century, circa 1950s–1970s.

An impressive and substantial piece, this cabinet takes its inspiration from classic Georgian and Sheraton furniture. It features beautifully figured yew veneers, decorative crossbanding, fine dark stringing and traditional brass drop handles.

The upper section is particularly striking, with four doors arranged around two large matched oval figured panels, giving the cabinet a wonderfully symmetrical appearance.

Below is a cleverly concealed fall-front drinks and serving section. When lowered, the front creates a generous surface suitable for preparing and serving drinks, with additional storage behind. The combination of traditional cabinetmaking details and practical drinks storage makes this a superb statement piece for a dining room, living space or home bar.
