Vintage Georgian style glazed display cabinet
£995.00
A substantial vintage display cabinet with warm reddish-brown colouring, figured grain and elegant Georgian revival detailing. Three glazed upper doors feature curved astragal bars, framing an attractive display space for glassware, ceramics and treasured objects.
Glass shelves and a contrasting pale interior give the upper section a bright, spacious appearance. Below, three drawers and three panelled cupboard doors provide practical enclosed storage for tableware, linens and everyday essentials.
Decorative interlaced bands beneath the cornice and drawers, traditional metal fittings and shaped bracket feet complete its classic appearance. A handsome addition to a dining room, living room or study.
Estimated to date from approximately the 1980s–1990s, possibly the early 2000s. The precise maker and timber species have not been confirmed.
