A striking Victorian Gothic Revival oak hall chair dating from the late 19th century, showcasing beautifully hand-carved detail and rich aged oak throughout.

This highly decorative antique chair features an ornate pierced cresting rail with foliate carving, carved uprights and a geometric back panel centred with a bold carved floral roundel. The chair stands on turned front legs united by traditional stretchers, giving it a wonderfully sturdy and substantial presence.

Rich in Gothic Revival character with strong ecclesiastical influence, this piece would make a beautiful statement within a hallway, study, library, bedroom or country house interior. The deep oak tone and naturally aged patina enhance the craftsmanship and give the chair exceptional warmth and authenticity.

A timeless decorative antique with superb visual impact.
