A beautiful set of four antique Victorian carved dining chairs, dating from approximately 1860–1880.

 

Full of period character, these elegant chairs feature beautifully shaped frames with ornate carved crest rails, sweeping backs and impressive pierced and carved central splats. The warm walnut-toned timber has developed a rich colour and patina that gives the entire set a wonderfully authentic appearance.

 

Each chair features an upholstered seat and coordinating upholstered back panel in a traditional patterned fabric, creating an attractive contrast against the warm timber.

 

A striking matching set that would work beautifully around a dining table or as occasional chairs within a country house, period property or characterful contemporary interior.
