A magnificent matched pair of antique Edwardian armchairs, dating from approximately 1900–1915, combining elegant early 20th-century proportions with sumptuous deep red velvet upholstery.
These are wonderfully decorative chairs with genuine presence. Each features a gently curved upholstered back flowing into comfortable padded arms, complemented by exposed polished hardwood framing and elegant tapered front legs terminating in small brass castors.
The rich crimson velvet is particularly striking, with subtle button detailing across the backs, traditional studded edging and generously proportioned loose seat cushions creating a luxurious yet unmistakably period appearance.
