Mahogany bow-front corner display cabinet

An elegant mahogany corner cabinet combining decorative display space with enclosed storage. Its curved bow front, geometric glazing bars and richly figured lower doors bring warmth and detail to a living room or dining room.

Twin glazed doors reveal glass display shelves against a pale fabric-lined interior. Above, a pierced decorative frieze sits beneath the moulded cornice. Two lower cupboard doors provide concealed storage, while slender legs and a shaped open undertier complete the graceful design.

Believed to date from approximately 1890–1910, although its exact age has not been independently verified. The cabinet appears to be mahogany with decorative figured veneers; its maker and precise timber composition are unconfirmed.
