A refined Edwardian bedside cabinet, dating to the early 20th century and crafted in richly figured mahogany. Elegant in both proportion and detail, the piece features a beautifully inlaid oval panel to the cupboard door, depicting a stylised shell motif, framed by fine crossbanding.
The cabinet is arranged with a single drawer above a cupboard, offering practical storage within a compact footprint. The shaped gallery back and stepped top add subtle architectural interest, giving the piece a balanced and considered presence.
The quality of the timber stands out, with a warm tone and natural patina that highlights the grain and craftsmanship throughout. Its understated design allows it to sit comfortably within both traditional interiors and more contemporary spaces.
