A beautifully authentic Victorian solid pine blanket chest, dating from approximately 1850–1880, offering timeless country craftsmanship, generous storage and over 140 years of history.
Crafted from solid pine, this handsome antique chest features a traditional lift-up lid supported by original wrought iron strap hinges, opening to reveal a spacious interior ideal for storing blankets, bedding, linens, toys, logs or seasonal household items.

Condition
Presented in very good antique condition with age-related wear consistent with over 140 years of use. There are minor knocks, marks, historic repairs, shrinkage and imperfections that reflect its history and enhance its authentic character.
