Antique Victorian Mahogany Sideboard with Burr Walnut & Marquetry Inlay

An exceptional antique Victorian sideboard combining rich mahogany with beautifully figured burr walnut panels and delicate decorative marquetry.

This is a particularly impressive statement piece, with wonderful depth of colour and craftsmanship throughout. The four panelled cupboard doors feature richly figured burr walnut centres with intricate inlaid decoration, framed by deep-toned mahogany.

The substantial moulded top, ornate brass handles and escutcheons, shaped lower aprons and turned feet give the piece an elegant architectural presence.

Behind the four doors is an excellent amount of practical storage. The outer cupboards incorporate shelving, while the central section conceals three substantial internal drawers, making this as functional as it is decorative.

Ideal as a dining room sideboard, living room credenza, hallway statement piece or substantial storage cabinet.
