A beautifully decorative Victorian mahogany hall chair dating from around 1850–1870, featuring an exceptional sculptural backrest with bold carved detailing, elegant scrollwork and rich aged mahogany tones throughout.

This striking chair is a wonderful example of Victorian Rococo Revival design, with its dramatic circular pierced back, flowing carved forms and turned front legs creating an instantly recognisable silhouette. Both highly decorative and functional, it works equally well as a statement accent chair or as a sculptural standalone piece within an interior.

The deep warm mahogany finish and shaped solid seat add further character and authenticity, making this a particularly atmospheric 19th century piece.
