A beautiful 19th-century mahogany fold-over tea table, dating to approximately 1850–1880, combining elegant Victorian proportions with wonderful original character.

Crafted in richly toned mahogany, the table features a hinged fold-over top, allowing it to sit neatly as a console or occasional table when closed before opening to create a much larger surface suitable for dining, games or entertaining.

The slender turned legs, gently rounded corners and figured central frieze panel give the piece a particularly refined appearance, while the warm patina and natural markings across the timber reflect its considerable age.
