A magnificent Victorian burr walnut pedestal dressing table, dating from approximately 1860–1880, showcasing beautifully figured timber, exceptional proportions and an abundance of practical storage.
The unusual architectural design features two substantial drawer pedestals topped by smaller two-drawer compartments, with a central dressing surface and drawer connecting the two sides. The burr walnut displays wonderful swirling grain throughout, enhanced by a rich, warm patina developed over generations.
A particularly striking piece of Victorian furniture that would make an exceptional dressing table, vanity or statement storage piece in a bedroom, dressing room or character interior.
