A magnificent mid-Victorian burr and figured walnut chest of drawers, dating to approximately 1860.
A particularly handsome piece of 19th-century furniture, displaying superb figuring and depth of colour throughout the walnut. The unusual configuration features four smaller upper drawers arranged around a central panelled section, with three substantial full-width drawers beneath.
The beautifully figured drawer fronts are complemented by traditional turned wooden handles, keyholes and softly rounded front corners. Its generous proportions provide excellent storage while the exceptional grain and warm patina give it considerable presence.

Condition
