A beautiful antique mahogany bergère armchair, dating to approximately 1900–1925, with wonderful proportions and an elegant Regency-inspired design.
The richly toned mahogany frame features traditional woven cane panels to the sides and back, sweeping scroll arms, carved detailing and impressive paw feet to the front. Generously proportioned upholstery in a soft neutral tone complements the warmth of the mahogany beautifully.
A substantial and extremely characterful chair, ideal as a library chair, reading chair, fireside chair or statement armchair within both traditional and contemporary interiors.
