Antique inlaid glazed display cabinet, circa 1900
An elegant antique display cabinet with delicate decorative inlay, warm mahogany colouring and slender splayed legs. Its shaped glazed door and contrasting dark mouldings bring a refined period character to the design.
Glazed side panels offer views of the contents, while three shelves and a lower display surface provide space for ceramics, glassware and treasured collections. The green fabric lined interior adds a traditional touch, and the cabinet’s slim proportions suit a living room, dining room or hallway.
Estimated to date from circa 1890–1910. The cabinet appears to feature mahogany or mahogany veneer with contrasting inlay, although the precise timber has not been independently confirmed.
