A beautifully proportioned Georgian solid oak bureau, dating from approximately 1780–1820, combining timeless craftsmanship, practical storage and over two centuries of authentic history.
This elegant antique bureau features the classic fall-front writing surface, which opens to reveal a thoughtfully arranged interior complete with pigeonholes, small drawers and a central cupboard. Designed for writing letters and organising important documents, it remains just as practical today as a stylish home office workstation or laptop desk.
Below the writing compartment are three spacious graduated drawers, providing generous storage while maintaining the refined proportions synonymous with Georgian furniture. Condition
Presented in very good antique condition with age-related wear consistent with over 200 years of use. There are minor marks, knocks, shrinkage and imperfections that reflect its history and authenticity, all of which add to the character of this beautiful Georgian piece.
