A magnificent antique mahogany extending dining table, dating from approximately 1900–1920 and displaying all the elegance of the Chippendale Revival period.
The beautifully finished oval top has a rich, warm mahogany colour and is framed by a deeply carved decorative edge. Below, four elegant cabriole legs feature finely carved acanthus detailing before terminating in impressive ball-and-claw feet.
Its extending design provides additional dining space when required, making this an exceptionally practical antique as well as a striking centrepiece for a dining room.
