A beautiful antique Edwardian burr walnut chest of drawers, dating to approximately circa 1900.
A particularly attractive example, featuring wonderfully figured burr walnut drawer fronts set within a contrasting darker timber frame. The rich figuring gives the piece tremendous depth and character, changing beautifully as the light moves across the surface.
Three generously proportioned graduated drawers provide excellent storage, each finished with decorative period-style brass handles. Traditional dovetailed construction, a raised gallery back, turned front feet and castors complete the elegant period design.
A superb statement chest that would work beautifully in a bedroom, dressing room, hallway or characterful country house interior.
