Antique Dark Oak Mirrored Wardrobe – Late Victorian / Edwardian c.1900

A wonderfully imposing late Victorian / Edwardian dark oak wardrobe, dating approximately from c.1890–1910.

Full of authentic period character, this handsome wardrobe combines substantial proportions with a wonderfully deep, aged oak finish. The design features a prominent moulded cornice, traditional panelled construction and a tall central mirrored door, creating an elegant yet distinctly architectural appearance.

Particularly attractive are the ornate Gothic-inspired metal embellishments positioned on either side of the mirror, adding an unusual decorative element and giving the wardrobe considerably more individuality than a conventional antique wardrobe.

The door opens to reveal a generous full-height interior with traditional hanging hooks, providing practical storage while retaining its original period character. Beneath sits a large full-width drawer with decorative drop handles, providing useful additional storage.

A superb statement piece for a country house, period bedroom, cottage or an interior where rich antique timber and genuine age are celebrated.
