A magnificent early 20th-century burr walnut extending dining table, dating approximately from the 1920s–1930s.
A particularly elegant example of Queen Anne Revival furniture, this impressive table showcases beautifully figured burr walnut veneers across its generous tabletop, creating a rich and highly decorative finish.
The table stands on four graceful cabriole legs, each enhanced with traditional carved shell detailing and terminating in rounded pad feet. A beautifully carved decorative border runs around the edge of the tabletop, adding another layer of craftsmanship and refinement.
Designed to be both beautiful and practical, the table features an extending mechanism with an additional centre section, allowing it to transform from a generously proportioned everyday dining table into a considerably larger table when entertaining.
