Antique Arts & Crafts Oak Hall Stand with Art Nouveau Tiles & Mirror – c.1900

A wonderfully distinctive antique Arts & Crafts oak hall stand, dating from approximately 1895–1910, combining beautiful craftsmanship with striking Art Nouveau detailing.

Constructed from richly figured oak, this impressive hall stand features a large central mirror surrounded by numerous decorative metal coat and hat hooks. Beneath the mirror sits a useful shelf, attractive heart-shaped pierced details and an exceptional panel of turquoise-blue moulded floral tiles.

The lower section incorporates a central lidded storage compartment together with dedicated umbrella and walking-stick sections and twin metal drip trays.

The combination of warm aged oak and vivid turquoise ceramics makes this a particularly decorative example and a fantastic statement piece for an entrance hall, boot room or period interior.
